Where you are

In case of emergencies such as fire, the most common question asked is where the others are. The system I propose answers this.

Description

The worst of the consequences of fire is not damage to equipment but to human life. The main focus should be on how to prevent the hazard of death. I offer a system in which the locations of the workers are known. In case of fire, the workers are asked to evacuate the building as soon as possible. However, workers can fail to evacuate due to not knowing the emergency exit or being unaware of the fire until it is too late. So I propose a big red shiny counter inside the SME that shows the number of workers present in the room. I offer to count the number of people through a tracker which can be inserted to their name tags. One can think of this as a bluetooth device which counts the number of people it can reach and reflects it on the counter on the wall. So this way, workers and the boss can know how many are left inside and identify the places where the people are at risk. The boss can keep track of how many people are inside the building and direct the fire fighters to the exact room in which that person is unable to get out. The boss can track this number through an application in his cell phone and be relieved when the number shows 0. This is a simple and efficient way to prevent death hazards due to panicking and negligence at the moment of emergency and assuming everyone is out and safe. This system will let everyone know if there is someone inside and should be saved!

The photos attached are examples of the components of system. A scoreboard keeps track of the number of workers inside. The app notifies the boss whether the evacuation is successfully achieved or if there are people left inside. The ID cards are examples with chips inserted at any place to keep track of the workers left inside the building.
