Extinguishing Bales
Focus lies on cheap equipment to fight fires. This involves a 2 step procedure to extinguish external flame and internal smoulders
Description
A cheap motor can be connected to a pipe, connected to an in factory tap. Fit the end of the pipe with a nozzle that further pressures and sprays the water. the pipe must be 2-inch wide. Once the external fire of the bale is over, use the nozzle to poke the bales and release water to put out internal smolders. The advantage of this system is that it improves an existing system and is easy to use by any person. The nozzle attachment and motor are low cost and easy to maintain. A Single Orifice Continuous Jet nozzle can be used, attached to the end of the pipe with a 35cm length of stainless steel, 18 cm of which is coated with insulation material. The operator will have to lever it around using the handle (the stiff tubing that can be screwed on to the end of the tap. to cover a great distance or poke it into bales to extinguish internal fires.
