DuST-D , Dust Detector, is a camera detection system. It enables us to detect the dust amount in the environment. Dust explosions are one of the main contributors of the fire in the textile industry. If we overcome this root cause, then we will get rid of many fires in SMEs in textile industry. DuST-D scans the environment and calculates the dust content in the room It has normal, tolerance and upper-limit (danger) levels. If dust content is below the critical value, it shows green color. If dust content goes up in the room, it shows yellow color showing that dust-content is in the tolerance phase. If the dust content goes up, it shows red color, gives sound notification for people in the room and message notifications for the responsibles. For this stage, the production area must be ventilated quickly and people have to leave the room. When the dust content decrease, the system shows green color. It can be used in small-size to bigger size companies. Not only in tetile industry, it can be used in other industries well. Once it has been installed, it can be used for a long time. For installing and maintenance, it requires costly equipment and professional support. That is a negative feature of the product.
