Extinguisher Balls

-Roll Directly to Fire Spot via Inclined Guidings-

Description

Starting point: A ball rolls smoothly over an inclined plane. From this point I suggest Fire Extinguishing Balls, rolling along a guiding, inclined, directly to place where fire was detected. Design: •storage with extinguisher balls •inclined guiding mounted at ceiling of working halls •pushers, distributed over the guiding, which can stop or let through balls •actors for opening / closing pushers •Control System with -smoke detectors -Server —which controls incoming signal from relevant detector —controls release of extinguishing balls —controls which pushers need to be opened So in case of fire optical smoke detectors give signal to a server. Server controls, which pushers must open, that ball or several balls are guided to place of fire. Ball then drops into fire, melts and releases extinguisher agent. •Therefore extinguishing balls, hollow inside, are made of -shell material that is easy to inflame / melts under fire —plastic material —natural material (cellulose) —>Wood Plastic Material (WPC) -filled with an extinguishing agent Protection Effectiveness: •targeted •controlled Advantages: •minimum effort for fighting device •easy, but effective transport system for fighting devices So such system offers: * fast response * cost efficiency * manageable installation effort * few maintenance * scalability Disadvantage: Perhaps under some structural conditions not every place is reachable by such system. In this case a worker can throw ball into fire which is placed in storage nets nearby. Or extinguishing balls can be stored directly over such places and release is then directly from storage system. Challange: •find right angle in which guidings need to be inclined so that balls roll perfect •design of extinguishing balls
