Vacufire

(Vaccum + fire) Simply put: Fire can't sustain in vaccum!!

Description

We all know that three things are necessery for fire to happen- heat, oxygen and one combustible source.Now this device separates all the above 3 components by pulling out air near source.As the space is is confined (due to the fireproof cloth/material) from above it creates a partial vaccum inside. The round covering carrying the cloth has slots inside (to suck air)and is directly connected to pump.It uses a centrifugal pump to create vacuum and all the air/particulate material can come out of the nozzel.Now when air pressure inside decreases it will make the cloth to come down thus reducing the volume further. The cloth and covering material needed is fireproof and plastic insulation is provided at the end with controls for the pump. Advantages -The traditional C02 extinguisher can't be used in small rooms as it increases the risk of replacing all oxygen with C02 that can be dangerous for health.This device can be used anywhere. -It does not need to depend on continuous sensing which uses a lot of electricity and is costly.Just charge it and use it. +There is always a chance that fire in a building is caused due to electric short circuit ,in that case all automatic equipment will fail and we need to depend on manual equipments! -Quick in case of emergencies. Still appropriate changes in design need to be made on basis of manufacturing and testing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After reviewing many comments below that the device can't be used in big fires (which depends on type and power of motor used) some modifications are made in 2.0 version shown below. The perforated leather net provides path to the air to blow out through the pump and can greatly reduce the amount of time and effort to extinguish fire.Also the device will work on all surfaces and volumes. Reasons why I think it will work- Fire can't work without the surface molecules being in gaseous state so they emit heat and light.Thats why heat is required to vaporise some of the material.Now providing path for air will take all that vaporised material away and the air which will take its place from above will cool the surface(convection) thus removing fire or .......atleast diminishing it.
