My idea proposes for Firecarpet which is a low cost carpet which can be laid on the fire exit route of the facility, it has embedded tubes which will release water & CO2 to extinguish the flames. These tubes are fire resistant and can withstand high temperatures even if the carpet burns out at higher temperatures, the tubes still remain intact. The principle of operation is very simple but effective, a long fire resistant tube is embedded in a carpet and laid around the facility, this tube has strategically places tiny pores when the main supply of water or CO2 is released then water and CO2 gets released from these pores which will cover the entire facility where the mat is laid. This technology will provide a cheap alternative to the buildings which doesn't have water sprinkler system on the ceiling as they can lay this mat and it will provide similar facility from the ground like a fountain. Also laying this on fire exit will help people o easily identify the fire exit routes of facilities and these fire exit routes will always be clear of fire as they have firecarpet fire extinguishing system.
