Description

The Infrapuna innovation combines the infrared sensor technology with automated alarming software and fire extinguisher. It consists of infrared sensors (IR), application and a fire extinguishing drone with a foam spray. This way one can have the fire safety monitoring system, controlling system and extinguishing system all in one. It all starts with the IR-sensors. In case of threat of fire, the sensor will detect the rise in temperature in a particular part of the space, whether it be a rise in a machine’s temperature or a beginning of a fire. The sensor will then notify the application what is happening. If there is just a small rise in temperature, the application will send a push notification about it. If it is a case of a higher sudden temperature rise, and the sensor detects the temperatures of a fire, it will launch an alarm through the application and inform the fire department immediately while simultaneously launching the drone. The drone is fully automated and taught by artificial intelligence. It will launch from its launch pad and head towards the fire. When faced with the fire, it will inject it with a foam. In case of smaller fires, it would be able to extinguish the whole fire and in case of aggressive fires it would severely reduce the fire from spreading.
