Description

Amazon Dash is a consumer goods ordering service which uses a proprietary device for ordering goods over the Internet. The button is an Independence product which requires zero physical installation - just place it in its proper location and it works. It contain an internal battery and wireless communication technology, no wire required. The idea is to adapt this product as a fire alarming button. The facility manager shall be able to install buttons as they like, per relevant locations, without additional installation cost such as power source and communication wiring. To perform this installation and to make the location detection of each button, the installer is required is to program the server side about the location of each button and its purpose (if more than a simple fire alarm notice is required). Once a fire event occurs, the people in the area shall simply press the button. The relevant fire handling personnel (such as the local fire emergency teams and the fire emergency services) shall be notified about the event and the exact location of the fire (i.e. floor number, zone area, relevant machine) and shall be able to handle it as soon as possible. Different fire types may be reported using multiple buttons per each type or by providing a multiple buttons product.
