Rather than using sprinkler systems that are costly to install and do routine maintenance and checks on, why not equip areas with the items similar to a T-shirt Cannon that can be co2 powered to shoot ELIDE extinguisher balls. Thus more impact than a small extinguisher. Every employee can have a RFID or smart phone and when a fire is detected it alerts the closets employees to help contain the fire fast as well as to help get the ones close to teh flames away and out of harms way. The app will be able to direct employees to exits and to locations of the launcher cannons ball locations or inventory pits ... Alternatively launcher cannons could be mounted in the cannons and AI could be used to AI target and direct cannon directly at the epicenter of the starting blaze/ fire. Fire extinguishing balls can be placed in problematic area - where there are chemicals or higher risk areas.
